Grieg Lodge | Give to the Scholarship Fund, Legacy Fund & Norse Hall Restoration
There are many ways to donate, and your generosity is always appreciated. Be certain to let us know if you’re are making a memorial donation.
1. Grieg Lodge Restoration Fund
The Restoration Fund is used for special restoration or beautification projects that enhance Norse Hall and/or provide facility/physical support for Grieg Lodge programs. Persons wishing to donate to this fund should send a check to Grieg Lodge Financial Secretary, 111 NE 11th Ave, Portland, OR 97232-3002. Check should be made out to “Grieg Lodge”, with “Restoration Fund” on the memo line. Donations to this fund are generally not tax deductible but check with your tax preparer.
2. Grieg Lodge Legacy Fund
The Legacy Fund is used for charitable assistance to lodge members and their families, as well as to the community, including local schools. Persons wishing to donate to this fund should send a check to Grieg Lodge Financial Secretary, 111 NE 11th Ave, Portland, OR, 97232-3002. Check should be made out to “Grieg Lodge”, with “Legacy Fund” in the memo line. Donations to this fund are generally not tax deductible but check with your tax preparer.
3. Grieg Lodge Scholarship Fund (GLSF).
Visit glscholarshipfund.org to see the many ways you can support the GLSF aside from cash donations. Checks should be made out to “GLSF”, and mailed to GLSF, 111 NE 11th Ave, Portland, OR 97232-3002. Grieg Lodge Scholarship Fund is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization. The Federal Tax Identification Number is 93-0701294 and contributions are tax-deductible as allowed by law.
4. General Donations
You may also donate to either Grieg Lodge or Norse Hall without specifying a particular fund. Donations to Grieg Lodge should be made out to “Grieg Lodge” and sent to the attention of the Grieg Lodge Financial Secretary. Those to Norse Hall should be made out to “Norse Hall” and sent to the attention of the Norse Hall Treasurer. The address for both is 111 NE 11th Ave, Portland, OR 97232-3002. These donations are generally not tax deductible but check with your tax preparer.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept dropped-off donations of Scandinavian artifacts or books. If you think Norse Hall would be a good home for one of your family heirlooms, please call 503.236.3401 and we will contact you to discuss and make arrangements.
